Mr Nimmo combined the colours of the two great schools his boys would go on to attend — the black and gold of Sydney Grammar and the blue and gold of The Scots College — to create the Coogee Prep colours of black, gold and blue. The 'A' of our crest is Alpha, the first letter of the Greek alphabet, signifying the first step in a boy's education.
